Science TAKS

Science TAKS, easiest of the group (Math, Reading, Science). We were all (the whole grade) done by Specials time which is at 10:30, when our school starts at 7:45. I am SO glad we didn't go to class. A wave of relief swooped over me. Well, thats about it. :D Read again

Lovely Spummer

Spummer...Spring and Summer. That's what the weather was today. Well, I wrote this to announce something. I...lost....to my dad in basketball. No surprise? Well here was the score: 50-48. He was not going easy on me, he even asked me, "Wow, nice shot! You going to join basketball team?" I replied "No," since I do better beating my sister, making her mad, and trying to beat my dad, which is an accomplishment to shove into his face and boast about. Woohoo! Almost there! I told him, "Next year, I'll beat you, because I'll be taller and you'll be shorter!"

Mock Trial #3

This time I was a judge. Chief Justice in fact! Well, it was an easy decision, because one side, brought the constitution to back them up. "Section 8 in the Constitution clearly states that..." Man they were prepared. It was a 7-0 win, the case was U.S v. O'Brien. U.S. won. Thats about it.

Mock Trial #2

I was not as confident with this case, and I had a partner that, I think, will be a lawyer when he grows up. Honestly, we would have won if it weren't for some people. Okay, here is how it was a tie (thats what my PACE teacher said). It was a 3-3 tie. It was all up to the "Chief Justice". She began to say my side, then, everybody who was for that case and the "lawyers" glared at her. One of them even walked up and gave her their notes! So not fair, since, you are supposed to just sit there and NOT interfere with his/her choice. She then announced, "Okay, alright, I vote for Board of regents because it had....more facts." Man, I was so mad! Why would she do that? It's her choice not theirs. Anyways, I was not prepared so, I think we did good, but I didn't feel good that I was beat by my opponents. Yeah, well, we are having our last mock trial on this amendment tomorrow, but the post will be less exciting since I will (finally!) be a judge.

Weekends

My favorite part of the week...but here are some things about it:

Bad points:

-Saturday brings Sunday which is followed by Monday!

-It goes by too fast!

-I have this timer in my head so I can't sleep in! *Grr*

-If you have homework then you have to do last minute

Axis Powers Hetalia

Best manga ever! It teaches you history in a fun way that won't rot your brains. I, for one, love history. Best subject in the world! Yeah, well, blah blah..awesome..blah blah blah...a must read. Please tell me about your favorite subject in school, an actual one and NOT lunch. You may say I hate school, I don't see the reason...because that is YOUR opinion.

Mock-Trial

Today, for PACE, I did a mock-trial. I was a lawyer with my buddy. After we got done they voted. We won, 6-1. Our teacher, said that she was going to vote for the other side, but, we really convinced her to vote for us. Maybe I should say I because my partner, was slightly nervous so I spoke, he spoke one sentence. I told our teacher how I am related to some attorneys and she said, "You must have some of it in your blood!" That opened up a whole new road. Actually, my grandpa told me, that my aunt, said that she wanted to be an attorney at my age, and she is now. Well, I will blog the next time I have a mock-trial. So, later!

Left 4 Dead

I am sure you all have heard of Left 4 Dead. Great game right? I do it on the computer, it is easier then the X-Box, and I have been playing with my family with 0 computer characters. It is awesome, i recommend for 13 year olds and up, maybe 15 or 16, if you are the sensitive type.

Dog-Sitting

I am dog-sitting my neighbor's dog. Ah~ I love dogs don't you? Please, comment nicely. If you don't like dogs say "dogs aren't my thing" or something of the sort

School

Say, you know somebody who absolutely hates school. Here is how to slightly change their mind; tell them, "The sooner you go to school, the sooner you are out of school." It is true and it keeps me going. But still, sometimes, I hate school....so if you do, you are NOT alone.

How it went

Do you all remember the school project I mentioned? Well, we did it today. Even though everybody clapped, I felt ridiculous! Oh well, I hope it isn't a major grade since, well, I might drop to a B. Well, better than an F!

TAKS

Good points:

-You sit around all day and do nothing! :D

-You get to have some quiet reading time! *finally*

Bad points:

-You have to catch up later

-No talking at all!

-No recess unless everybody is done (some people are slow)

School Project

I enjoy school because I like to explore things, but lately, we've gotten into some boring stuff. That's why, I am glad that today, in Science, my group (that is working on something extra) was rehearsing and in no time, had gone through all of second period! I was so relieved, but I felt horrible that we accomplished only a little! Oh well, we have to do a presentation Thursday, and I hope we get a B or more. Honestly, I hope something happens to the schedule so we have an extra day....

Friends are a joy to be with. It's always fun to be with them. I have many friends that are always there, annoying me, or just joking around. I am not the type of person to say gushy stuff like, your a true friend or some blah! I'm just dedicating this post to my bestest friends (yes, I am the type of person to say stuff like "bestest") in the whole world!
